The problem
Screen shares catch things you didn't mean to show.
A Slack message pops up in the middle of a demo. Your inbox sits right behind the slides. If the call is recorded, that stays in the recording.
Do Not Disturb stops the notifications, but the apps are still on screen. ScreenVeil keeps the apps you pick out of the window you share, and you can keep using them. It can't hide one tab or one line of text inside an app you do share.

The ScreenVeil column is the Privacy Screen window, which leaves macOS notification banners out (tested on macOS 26.1). In Hide on My Mac mode, an app you reopen can show up, and banners need Focus.
