Mark the apps that should stay out of the call. ScreenVeil leaves them out of the Privacy Screen window, and they keep working on your Mac.

It can't hide something inside an app you do share, like one browser tab, so check those before you start.
ScreenVeil uses Apple's ScreenCaptureKit to build the Privacy Screen window. In Zoom, Meet or Teams you share it like any other window.
Choose what to share
Pick Privacy Screen, then Share.
If you share your whole screen instead, the filter doesn't apply.
Keep a single window out of the share while the rest of its app stays in, like Google Meet in its own Chrome window. Switch it on under Hide a window in the menu bar.
Resets when Privacy Screen stops
Hiding a window hides every tab in it, so give the meeting its own window. The choice resets when you stop the Privacy Screen.
Save one set of private apps for customer demos, another for team calls, and others for recordings. Switch between them in Settings.
Customer Demo: Only Keynote and Chrome are shared.
Start and stop the Privacy Screen, change your private apps and cover the feed from the menu bar. ScreenVeil's own windows are left out of the share by default.
Click the ScreenVeil icon in the menu bar.
Press ⌘⇧B and the people on your call see a black screen until you press it again.
Sharing the Privacy Screen
Click the keys, or press ⌘⇧B on your keyboard.
It works with the Privacy Screen window. Try it once before a call so you know what it looks like on their end.
A second mode for when you'd rather share your real desktop. It hides or moves your private apps on screen.
If you reopen one of them, or share a different display, it will show. Notification banners show unless Focus is on.
ScreenVeil processes your screen on your Mac. It doesn't upload screen frames, screenshots, window titles or notification text.
Try dragging one off the screen.
