I built ScreenVeil so sharing your work doesn’t mean sharing everything on your Mac.

The idea is simple: keep selected private apps open for yourself, then share the separate Privacy Screen window in your meeting or recording app.

Keep working during your screen share

A client call can move between slides, a browser and a work app. You may still need private notes or messages open on the same Mac. ScreenVeil creates a separate window named Privacy Screen, with the apps you mark private left out. Share that window in your meeting app while those private apps stay open on your side.

Who publishes ScreenVeil

Saaspero LLC publishes ScreenVeil. The Mac installer is Developer ID signed and notarized. The download page lists the current release and its checksum; the changelog records what has changed.

What stays private

Screen content is processed on your Mac. ScreenVeil does not upload screenshots or screen recordings. The privacy policy explains screen processing, account services and optional analytics.

Filtering applies to the Privacy Screen window you choose to share. Sharing your whole display bypasses it. Content inside an app you share can still be visible, so check the receiving view before an important call.

Start with the setup guide, or check the sharing instructions for your meeting app.
