Why we don't claim to block all screen recorders
An honest product makes an honest promise. Here's exactly what ScreenVeil protects — and what it doesn't.
It would be easy to market ScreenVeil as 'unbreakable screen protection.' It would also be false. So we don't.
What ScreenVeil actually does
ScreenVeil builds a clean, shareable window — your Privacy Screen — using Apple's supported capture APIs. You control exactly what appears in it. When you share that window, your audience only sees what you allowed.
What it doesn't do
It does not intercept or block every possible way software could capture your display. A determined app with its own screen-recording permission is outside the scope of any window-level tool. We'd rather tell you that clearly than sell you a false sense of security.
The honest framing is the useful one: ScreenVeil gives you a feed you fully control for the calls, demos, and recordings you actually do.
